How do I connect to Jira?
The Agile Projector automatically connects to your Jira instance through the permissions you grant when you sign in with your Atlassian account. There is no need to manage keys, user credentials or set additional permissions
Do I need to train my team on The Agile Projector or buy them seats?
We understand tooling fatigue. There is no need for your team to have user seats or even knowledge of The Agile Projector. They only need to indicate effort days and dependencies on their Jira Issues.
If you find value in giving them access to The Agile Projector, all you need to do is invite them to your Organization. There is no cost for user seats (you pay for the number of Projectors you need).
How is The Agile Projector different from a Gantt Chart?
While Gantt charts help you visualize dependencies between time-bound units of work, the similarities stop there.
Gantt chart work units are based on top-down settings of calendar time, not effort time. They also tend to be high level aggregates of varied types of work items (Project level, not Issue level). For this reason, they also do not have any way to do accounting for available resources to do the work.
In contrast, The Agile Projector is a bottoms-up, Issue level, effort-based scenario planner that is driven by the realities of the team you have working on it. It is responsive in real time to actual Issue statuses, execution sequencing, team member availability, efficiency and suitability, granular dependencies and effort time. It also provides two-way synchronization of scenario planning and execution planning to and from Jira via the construction of and maintenance of personalized backlogs.
We don’t use Jira. Can we still use The Agile Projector?
